The cultural product for tourism must match the cultural resources with tourist needs, who are variably motivated to make use of cultural heritage. One of the most effective instruments to provide for immersion of tourists into the regional culture is historical reconstruction: this approach allows to take tourists to historic locations using historical means of transportation, carry out ethnic and gastronomic performances and provide interactive tour options. These methods have long been tested in international practice and are increasingly more often integrated into Russian tourism products. The ideologues of representing information by means of immersing into the history of culture and holding educational and entertainment events will share their ready cases and discuss possible cooperation options.
