Meeting with the real legend of Japanese cinema Kiyoshi Kurosawa and showing his film "Journey to the shore".
Kiyoshi Kurosawa is the author of original horror, psychological dramas and even Gothic thrillers. In the late 90's Kiyoshi earned a reputation as a cult underground Director, and already in the zero, his films began to receive favorable reactions of critics and awards at major international festivals (in the Treasury Kurosawa three awards Cannes film festival). "Journey to the shore" (2015) was awarded the prize for the best Director in the program "Special view" of the Cannes film festival. In the center of the plot — a mystical romantic story. The heroine's husband, who died three years ago, suddenly returns home and offers his wife to travel to those places that can explain what happened to him over the past three years.
The meeting will be held within the VII St. Petersburg international cultural forum with the support of the Japanese Foundation and Cool Connections.
