Roundtable Discussion "Convergence of arts and science in the work of the Young Scholars' Council: Experience of cooperation between classical universities and universities of arts."
Strategic session "Eco-system of creative education in the sphere of stage arts: Space of Global Interaction" has been dedicated to the Year of the Theatre in Russia. Leaders of creative schools of Russia, Europe, China, Japan and the US, who are working on creating the "image of the future" in theatre and music education space, will talk about international standards of professional education in creative university programs, discuss the future development of creative education programs in classical universities and appraise the role of private educational institutions in professional maturation of young actors.
The event will take two days. The second day of the program will complete with the roundtable discussion "Convergence of arts and science in the work of the Young Scholars' Council: Experience of cooperation between classical universities and universities of arts."
Young actors and researchers will study the educational initiatives that were supported by the Young Scholars Concils at SPSU and Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in Saint Petersburg, the SPSU Alumni Association and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. Graduates of Class 2018 of creative educational programs of SPSU will present their report on the work of youth creative laboratory, the ART INCUBATOR project, in the form of a creative performance. The youngest participants of the section "Education" will present their music gift to the guests of the Forum. These young performers are winners of "Music Hopes of the Arctic," the grant competition of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs in 2019. Speakers of the session and project experts will discuss the principles of youth education and cooperation between universities and creative institutions of higher education in the sphere of working with gifted children.
