From the Past to the Future. Ethnofuturist Artists

The event takes place as part of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Mordovia and the 5th International Crafts Congress.

In the modern artistic space of the multicultural world, ethnofuturism is a response to globalization, a way to preserve traditional ethnoculture, a qualitatively new stage in the development of national art. The exhibition will feature about 30 works of outstanding representatives of ethnofuturism in the art of Mordovia: Lyudmila Kolchanova-Narbekova, Yury Dyrin and Stepan Korotkov, in which archaic images are combined with a modern art form.

During the Forum, the exhibition lasts two days: November 11–12.
