Istanbul in Turkish and Russian literature

This conference is dedicated to the discussion of traditions and innovations in classical and modern Turkish and Russian literature. The imperial past uniting our countries — Russia and Turkey — left an indelible mark on their literature, and the position of both countries between East and West predetermined many common themes and the same view on many conceptual issues. Some of these issues would be the subject of the discussion. The conference will bring together leading experts in Turkish and Russian literature.
