Library is first of all a social institution, the place where and through which the society creates itself. And it depends on the extent of library’s interaction with all groups of audiences how these audiences will finally interact with each other beyond it. Each cultural institution should have a complex policy in the matter of inclusion, the purposes of which could be expansion of the knowledge of the general public, arrangement of accessibility for certain audiences, establishment of permanent relations with various communities and finally joint programming of projects in which their representatives participate.
As a part of the workshop, experts will discuss for what, for whom and how inclusive projects in libraries are created. Which problems of disabled people can libraries solve? What opportunities do libraries provide for teenagers, parents and teachers for the solution of bullying problems, how does art-therapy help to deal with stress and fears?
