2018 is the year of Russian-Italian cultural ties. The round table in the Academy of Fine Arts is devoted to art education of two countries — their past, present and future. The leaders of the oldest Italian Academy of Arts will talk about historical experience, vision of the future, discuss the problems to be solved.
At the round table is planned to discuss the following issues:
- The role of Italy in the development of Russian artists. Russian-Italian cultural ties from the 18th century, since Russian academics went on retirement trips to the West, until the 21st century.
- Modernization of art education — the challenges of the time to which we are forced to respond. The value of the traditions of the craft and the support of the individuality of the artist.
- The interaction of educational institutions with museums. The established practice, the prospects for collaboration.
