The development of the Belt and Road Initiative, its connection with the EEU and reinforcement of Euroasian integration lead to a growing number of international scientific and educational projects, as well as a growing number of international teachers and students. Programs focused on exploration of China flourish in universities of Russia and other CIS countries, as well as in Europe, while Chinese universities turn to active exploration of Russia, Central Asia, Caucasus and Europe. These processes contribute to internationalization of education, form a new space for the dialogue of cultures, where the voice of Asia gets stronger and stronger. The culture, history and interests of the Belt and Road member countries increasingly define universities’ development trends.

An expert discussion will take place during the second part of the event. There is a subtopic titled "The Belt and Road Initiative and Diversification of Language Training in Universities".

The event is co-organized by Beijing Language and Culture University.
