University Library in the Epicenter of Change and Knowledge

University libraries are working on changing the format of their work, develop various intersectoral cooperation opportunities and seek to retain their importance for education and research. Their work in the system of higher education will become the topic of professional discussion. The participants will: discuss the problem of publicity in the work of the contemporary university library; talk about the current educational, cultural and social role of book collections; present and analyze the result of their experience of consolidating the efforts of universities and libraries in solving comprehensive professional and publicly significant problems; forecast the development of university libraries as centers of knowledge and innovation, drivers of interdisciplinary interaction and development of partnership programs to increase the prestige and effectiveness of university education and science. The event will feature a presentation of a new album: “Collection of Knowledge: A Book Collection of St. Petersburg State University.” From the collection of the M.
