Born in 1972 in Moscow, lives in Italy from 1992.
Graduated from the State University of Urbino, was employed with the Bologna film library. Curator of many retrospective shows in Italy and abroad, author of a number of papers on cinema.
Starting from 1999, she cooperates with theatre festivals and performance groups, and makes translations (prize of the Yeltsin Fund for translation and curatorship of the book by Alexander Sokurov “In the Ocean’s Centre”, UBU prize for translation of Ivan Vyrypaev’s “Oxygen”).
Since 2002, she is engaged in selection of films produced in the countries of the former USSR and the Eastern Europe for various festivals (Alpe Adria Film Festival in Trieste, Venice Film Festival, Rome International Film Festival, Beijing International Film Festival, Pingyao International Film Festival). Currently she selects the program for the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes.
