Alexander Trukhachev

He is a well-known specialist in the field of hotel business and tourism. For more than ten years he has been engaged in scientific activity in the field of tourism, being a Candidate of Economic Sciences, having a PhD in Economics and Finance at the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance, he has achieved high results in the world of science and search of new knowledge in tourism.

Alexander Trukhachev is not only a practitioner in the tourism industry, but also a well-known and active scientist, whose works have been published in various Russian and international scientific publications. For more than two years, he has been a public servant as a Minister of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory.

A. V. Trukhachev is the initiator of youth parliamentarism in the Stavropol Territory, Chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture and Science of the Public Youth Parliament under the Duma of the Stavropol Territory.

In the past, he was the Head of the Department of Tourism and Service of Stavropol State Agrarian University, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Stavropol Territory, in charge of tourism activities, functioning and development of the region's resorts.

At present, he is the Minister of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory. Heading the Ministry of Tourism and Health Resorts of the Stavropol Territory, together with a team of highly professional specialists, he carries out state management and legal regulation in the field of tourism, functioning and development of resorts, implementation of measures aimed at the development of a specially protected ecologically-resort region of the Russian Federation – Caucasian Mineral Waters, including an experiment on the introduction of fees for the use of resort infrastructure in the Stavropol Territory, implementation of measures to develop the resort town of Kislovodsk.

He regularly appears in the media, on various regional and federal television channels.

He was awarded the national medal "For Merits in the Development of the Russian Tourism Industry".
