1979 — graduated with honors from the Faculty of Journalism of Leningrad State University. 1980–1993 — held executive positions in the newspapers “Svetlana” and “Leningradskaya Pravda”. 1994–2003 — General Director - Chief Editor of the newspaper “Nevskoye Vremya” She was elected president of the League of Journalists of St. Petersburg. 2003–2008 — Member of the Government of St. Petersburg - Chairman of the Press and Media Relations Committee. 2008–2011 — Vice Governor of St. Petersburg.
