Andrey Bauman

Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Saint Petersburg State University and Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television (Department of Camera Art). Has been employed with Project Baltia Journal of Architecture and Urban Construction, the Publishing Department of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Hermitage Journal, Master Journal — an online publication on arts. He also edits publications of Manezh Central Exhibition Hall, the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts and the Goethe Institute. At different times served as literary editor and proofreader of Kultura.RF online portal, Aperto Newspaper (Saint Petersburg — Berlin), publications of the Institute of Modern Art Problems, the Institute of Russian Realist Art, catalogs of the Sixth Moscow Biennale of Modern Art (2015), 5th and 6th Moscow International Biennale of Youth Art (2016, 2018), the 1st Riga International Biennale of Contemporary Art (RIBOCA) (2018). Has published his poetry in Novyi Mir, Druzhba Narodov, Neva, Ural and other journals; his poetry has been translated into Italian, French and Lithuanian. His book of poetry, "Milliannium" (Moscow, 2012) received the Debut Prize while still in press in 2011.
