Since 2012 to 2013, Anna Trapkova, holding a position of Deputy Director of the Department of State Support for Arts and Folk Art at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, managed projects for the establishment of innovative cultural centers.
In 2017 she took up a position as Deputy General Director for Projects for Reconstruction and Development of the Garage Museum, and from 2014 to 2017 she was Deputy Director for Development of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts.
On July 3, 2019 Anna Vladimirovna Trapkova was appointed General Director of the Museum Association "Museum of Moscow".
