Bakytzhamal Ospanova

Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna Ospanova — librarian and bibliographer with more than 37 years of experience. Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan since April 20, 2019.

Has been employed at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 1987. She started as a librarian, head of the group in various structural subdivisions of the library. During her work at the National Library, she established herself as a highly professional specialist and excellent leader with extensive experience in managing administrative and managerial tasks, her organizational abilities, independent decision-making skills, and her ability to work with large amounts of information.
