In 1976 she graduated from the Leningrad State University named after Andrei Zhdanov in the Department of Economic Cybernetics. In 1980 she graduated from graduate school at the Leningrad State University named after Andrei Zhdanov, Department of Industrial Economics. In 1981, she defended her PhD and in 2011, her doctorate. Since 1991 — Associate Professor in the Department of Industrial Economics.

Research interests: modern integration processes, features of mergers and acquisitions, financing of integration processes, economics and management of a modern university. Over 80 works have been published (4 monographs, 1 textbook, 4 study guides). The contribution of the author is about 1000 pp, including publications in leading international journals.

Since 2010 — in administrative work: 2010–2013 — Vice-Rector for International Relations, Political Science, Sociology and Economics; 2013–2015 — Vice Rector for Economics; 2015–2018 — First Vice-Rector for Economics; since 2018 — First Vice-Rector.

Supervised area of activity: financial and economic activities (except for procurement and capital construction), publishing, library, event organization, museum activities.
