Born in Paris, she fell in love with the Russian language and culture, defended her PhD in Soviet Literature to teach Literature of the 20th and the 21st centuries at the Slavonic Studies Department in the Sorbonne University. Her researches are mostly focused on contemporary Russian prose and contemporary world of Russian literature she had a chance to observe closely, since in 2008–2017 she used to live in Moscow.
In 2010–2013 she worked in the French Embassy Book Department, then she was a Director of the French-Russian Centre on Humanities and Social Sciences to enable strengthening of cultural and academic ties between Russia and France actively. She also explores Soviet and Russian animation. Editor-in-chief of Revue Russe.
