Jens W. Jordan

Architect, specialist in the preservation of architectural heritage.
Member of the ICOMOS National Committee. Since 2006, he has been researching the architectural heritage of Uzbekistan. Author of the scientific dissertation "Rehabilitation of historical city blocks (mahallas) in Samarkand". Author of numerous articles in Uzbek magazines.

In 2012–2015, he participated in the creation and implementation of the Uzbek-German Master's program on restoration, preservation and management of the architectural heritage of Uzbekistan. In 2017–2019, he was a senior researcher at Dresden Technical University and Bauhaus University in the scientific and practical project "Study of the topography of Tashkent monuments" to improve the skills of young specialists from Uzbekistan in the transfer of knowledge on the state of cultural heritage sites.
