Born in Bologna on 18 September 1976. Graduated in visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna (Accademia Clementina) with a dissertation in Phenomenology of Styles, supported by Maestro Concetto Pozzati and Professor Sandro Sproccati. She exhibited her own works in many displays and as an interior designer.
She began her political career in Lega nord with tasks at the Province and the Municipality of Bologna.
She was elected to the Senate of the Republic, in the plurinominal electoral constituency Emilia-Romagna 01 supported by the centre-right coalition.
On 13 June 2018, after the formation of the Conte Government, she was appointed State Secretary for Cultural Heritage and Activities. She thus received the delegation for the development and the promotion of the film and audiovisual sector from Mibac Minister Bonisoli.
