He began his career in 2012 at the Belgorod State Folk Art Center as a methodologist at the Department for Methodological Support of Cultural and Leisure Activities. Within 7 years, he passed all the stages of career growth: from Head of the Department of Innovation and Design Work to Deputy Director for Innovation, Design, Information and Analytical Work and to Director.
Maxim became the author of new regulatory documents for the cultural sector, focused on cultural and educational work, and developed a number of innovative programs.
Maxim is the Laureate of the 2019 Prize of the President of the Russian Federation for Young Cultural Workers.
The Belgorod State Folk Art Center is successful at the federal level. Following the results of the first departmental competition "House of Culture. New Format", the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation has determined the best practices within the framework of the Cultural Initiative project program. The Folk Art Center's initiative – "Cluster Model of the Formation of a Network of Cultural and Leisure Institutions in the Belgorod Region" – was recognized as the best among the projects implemented at the subject level. The Belgorod Folk Art Center became the winner in the "Best Design Idea – 2020" competition.
