Shot his first film when he was 18.
He was born in Uzbekistan. In 2009, he graduated from the Construction Faculty of the Railway Institute. In parallel with his studies at the institute, he acted as a theatrical performer and was shooting videos. Took an active part in the uzvideoart movement that in those days existed under the Tashkent Museum of Cinematography. Having graduated from the institute he moved to Moscow where he continued producing videos: he was shooting video clips and commercials. In 2017, he shot a short film “The Crimea is Ours” that was rejected by all festivals. In summer of the same year he shot another short film “I am normal”, which was included into the competition program “Weeks of Criticism” of 71th Cannes Film Festival and into the competition of the 29thKinotavr Film Festival. Presently he is working at his full-length debut.
