Since 2003, Milana Furman has been working in the field of international volunteer camps and has experience of organizing more than 15 international volunteer camps in Russia. She gives priority in the work to local initiatives that emphasize the cultural authenticity of the region. Area of interest: development of territories, rural tourism, popularization of Russian culture and history. Organizes international volunteer exchange and helps participants from Russia to select a volunteer camp abroad. She acted both as a camp leader volunteer (team leader), and as a host organization, as well as a coordinator assistant for receiving organizations in Russia. Shares her experience in annual training events for future volunteer group leaders. Since 2018, Camp Leader Schools project has been implemented as an online training program for active volunteer leaders. A camp leader school brings together the experience of professionals from the field of international volunteer camps so that to manage small teams effectively.
