In 2003 she graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Geography, majoring in Geography and Economics, Translator, thesis on the topic "Geography of Advertising Business in the World". She worked in international full-service advertising agencies (Bates VIAG Saatchi&Saatchi, Leo Burnett). Experience in the non-profit sector since 2010: 2010—2015 — Deputy Executive Director for the organization of information activities, All-Russian Public Organization Russian Geographic Society. From 2017 to 2020 — Director for Fundraising and PR, So-Yedinenie Charity Foundation for the Support of the Deaf-Blind. In 2017 she launched the first social flash mob #Naiznanku (Inside Out) in support of people with simultaneous hearing and vision impairments, which starts every year on June 27 — the International Day of the Deaf-Blind. From 2020 to the present day, she has been the director of the So-Yedinenie Foundation for the Support of the Deaf-Blind. Under the leadership of Natalia Sokolova, in 5 years the awareness of Russians of the problems of the deaf-blind has reached 51%. The foundation's annual statements submitted during Natalia's work annually receive the Gold Standard award, the highest award of the All-Russian contest "Point of reference" of annual statements of socially oriented non-profit organizations of the Donors Forum. The unique exhibition "Touching History at the Historical Museum" at the State Historical Museum of Moscow, organized in 2019 by the So-Yedinenie Foundation together with partners, was visited by 39,078 people, including 610 visitors (among them 56 children) with disabilities. In scope of the exhibition, 30 tactile copies of fragments of architectural monuments, famous exhibits and artifacts of the museum were prepared and transferred to the museum for the permanent exhibition.
