Nicolas Wackerbarth

Nicolas Wackerbarth is a filmmaker, author and editor of the Film Magazine REVOLVER. He also works as a teacher at art and film schools (HFBK Hamburg, HFF Munich, DFFB Berlin, New School of Cinema St. Petersburg) and publish texts about film (cargo, cinemascope, die welt). Nicolas Wackerbarth directed several feature films like the highly acclaimed by both critics and audience CASTING (2017, Berlinale), HALBSCHATTEN (2013, Berlinale ), UNTEN MITTE KINN (2011, Filmfest Munich) and HALBE STUNDEN (short film, 2007, Festival de Cannes). His films won several prizes like the Filmkunstpreis Ludwigshafen. They were shown at numerous international festivals around the world like BFI London, Cannes, Viennale, FID Marseille, BAFICI Buenos Aires, Midnight Sun Festival, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen.
