Was born in Leningrad. Graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University. Has professional education in music.

Came to television in 1993. On many occasions was named by the viewers Best Journalist of Saint Petersburg and the Face of Saint Petersburg Television.

Author, manager and host of many well-known projects, including the daily Open Studio analytical talk show (2004 — present).

Author and director of more than 20 documentaries on Rossiya and Kultura TV channels. Author of the book Anna Pavlovna. The Russian Princess on the Dutch Throne.

Winner of TEFI and the Grand Prix of the Golden Feather Competition.

Member of the Russian Television Academy, member of the Union of Cinematographists of Russia. Was awarded the top decoration of Saint Petersburg, the badge “For Services to Saint Petersburg” with the ribbon.
