Born on July 18, 1981 in Moscow. Parents Arlauskas Algis Iozasovich and Shimanskaya Marina Mechislavovna. She graduated from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) with a degree in Cinema, Radio and TV Communicology. In 2010, together with Nikita Tikhonov-Rau, she created Artvideo Documentary Film Studio, specializing in the production of social documentary films and TV projects. Member of the The Documentary Film and Television Guild. Since 2015, she has been actively developing social cinema and social impact-producing in Russia within the framework of the Third Sector Social Cinema Laboratory. Director and producer of films about genius people with autism, about social entrepreneurship, inclusive education, children's rights protection, popularization of humanity ideas. Three times winner of the Stalker Prize (film festival), winner of the Laurel Branch (prize) for the film Stigma, winner of the Country National Prize for the film Out, winner of the National Festival of Debuts “Movement” for the film Rectifying Sigh, winner of Saratov Sufferings (film festival) for the film In the Image and Likeness, winner of the main prize of the festival “Look at me as an equal” for the film Insiders are not Insiders, winner of the international competitions We Speak. Culture Unplugged, Russian Film Festival in New York and other.
