Roman Rybalo

Prior to joining the Russian Ministry of Culture he worked in the Committee for Cultural Heritage of Moscow, holding such positions as Deputy Chairman among others, and headed the autonomous non-commercial organization for promotion of cultural heritage preservation “National Guild of Heritage Keepers” (ANO NGHK).

Before his assignment to the position of Director of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage under the Russian Ministry of Culture he used to head the Cultural and Historical Monuments Management Agency (FSCI “CHMMA”).

Working in the Russian Ministry of Culture he was directly involved in development of regulatory legal acts in field of state protection of cultural heritage, including improvement of the recording system for cultural heritage sites and design of the Government List of the Most Valuable Objects of Cultural Heritage.

In the process of working activities he was awarded with multiple prizes.
