Sarah has worked in retail for 30 years in a variety of buying, merchandising and customer service roles. As Head of Retail at the V&A, Sarah has overall responsibility for the creative direction of all product sourcing and exclusive product development ensuring to keep the V&A collection and the V&A visitor experience right at the heart of commercial activity.

Product sourced and developed relates either to the core V&A collection or to the extensive programme of exhibitions and displays for which the V&A, and its shops, are renowned. Sarah directs the seasonal programme of themes that inform product ranging across all branches of the V&A Shop on site and on line. She is responsible for Retail Operations, Merchandising & Fulfilment, Buying, Product design & development and Ecommerce.

Sarah is regularly asked to talk and present nationally and internationally on ‘how the V&A does it’, and advises how the V&A has created a unified Retail proposition.

Sarah previously worked for Liberty, and for Osborne and Little.
