Sergey Sementsov

Head of the Department of Architectural and Urban Planning Heritage of St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Candidate of Architecture (1983), Doctor of Architecture (2007). Member of the Union of Architects of St. Petersburg, adviser to the RAACS. Since 2012 — Head of the Department of "Architectural and Urban Planning Heritage", in 2012–2017 — Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of SPbGASU.

Author of more than 300 articles and monographs on the problems of studying the historical development and historical urban planning of the territories of Leningrad — St. Petersburg, the territories that existed in the Prinevye and Ladoga region before the foundation of St. Petersburg. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Arts for the monograph "St. Petersburg in plans and maps. 20th century. Historical and cultural popular scientific publication" Mr. Sementsov have articipated in dozens of international, Russian and regional scientific conferences. He prepared two candidates of architecture, one Doctor of Architecture.
