Suh Hye Ran

Was born in 1955 in Seoul. Graduated from Yonsei University where she got Bachelor degree of library science and Master and Doctor degrees of library and information science. For more than 30 years she had been a professor of library and information science in Silla University (1985–2019). Since August 2019 she has been working as Chief Executive of National Library of Korea.

Since 2018 she has been a member of the Presidential Committee on Library and Information Policy.
