Tommaso Sacchi

Deputy Mayor for Culture, Fashion and Design of the City of Florence.
Born in 1983, Milan and currently based in Florence. Deputy-Mayor for Culture, Fashion and Design of the City of Florence. President of one of the main Italian national theaters Teatro della Pergola/ “Teatro della Toscana” and chairman of the same Foundation.

Former Head of Cultural Policies Secretariat of the City of Florence (2014–2019) and Artistic Director of the ‘Estate Fiorentina Festival’ ( the biggest Italian interdisciplinary cultural festival (2015–2019).

Co-curator of the SUSAS biennale _ Shanghai Urban Space Art Season (2017/18) and member of the Dante 750th Anniversary Committee, founded by the Italian Cultural Ministry

Member of the Advisors and Experts Board of Tirana 2030.

Former Lecturer in Communication Theory at the Accademia di Belle Arti — Como and Exhibition Management at the European Design Institute (IED) in Florence.

Co-Curator and Co-Author of installations and talks at the Venice Biennale for Contemporary Art, directed by Okwui Enwezor (2015), Berlin Biennale, directed by Juan Gaitan (2014), Architecture Venice Biennale directed by Rem Koohlaas (2014).

Served as Chief Communications Officer (CCO) to Stefano Boeri Architetti following the opening campaign of Bosco Verticale in Milan, 'Best Tall Building Worldwide Award' winning project, selected by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat - CTBUH in Chicago.

Founder and Curator of 'CROSS International Performance Award’ and a member of the Quality Jury Pool, along with Manuel Agnelli, Yuri Ancarani, Adrian Paci, Italo Rota
