Vadim Gololobov was born in 1964 in St. Petersburg. He graduated from St. Petersburg Technological University in 1987. From 1990 to 1992, he studied at Pavel Kogan and Sergey Skvortsov’s Directing Documentary Films Department at the Leningrad Institute of Theater and Cinematography.
In 1992 he joined the “DEREVO” theater (Russia — Germany) in Prague, first as an administrator, then as a lighting designer and technical director. Since 1996, Vadim has been collaborating with the AKHE Theater as a lighting designer, and since 2000, he has been the technical and administrative director of the company. In 2010, with the organization of the AKHE Engineering Theater, he was elected to the post of General Director of the theater and holds it to this day.
