Vladimir Molchanov

He worked in the press Agency "news", in the Western European edition. He was an editor, his own correspondent in the Netherlands, when visiting the Netherlands official Soviet delegations was a simultaneous interpreter. The author of the book "Retribution must happen", for which he was awarded the literary prize of Maxim Gorky, as the best young author. He is the author of about twenty documentaries. On "Radio Orpheus" broadcasts "Rendezvous with an Amateur", on the TV channel "Nostalgia" conducts weekly talk show "Before and after with Vladimir Molchanov". Winner of the TEFI award for the film "Notes from the dead sea" (screenplay) in the category "Documentary"; winner of the TEFI award in the category "Interviewer" with the program "And more than a century..."; winner of the award "Radiomania" (2007) in the category "Best radio host"; winner of the award "Man of the year" Federation of Jewish communities of Russia (2006); he was awarded the Order of Honor (2011) — for his great achievements in the development of national television and radio broadcasting and long-term fruitful activity; winner of a number of international festivals of documentary films, the Union of journalists of Russia "Golden feather of Russia".
