Born in Minsk, Belarus, he studied at Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences (St. Petersburg) and Bard College (USA) and continued his education at Lund University in Sweden.

After graduating from Applied cultural analysis program at Lund University, he started working in the Swedish museum and culture sector. Previously, Vladimir was part of the translator team for the Russian translation of Art Since 1900 project. In Sweden, he worked at the Museum of Artistic Process and Public Art, Skokloster castle, Vasa museum, and Nordic museum. Vladimir contributed with a study on ethical regulations on contemporary documentation in Swedish museums for the newly founded Museum of Movements in Malmo. Apart from that, Vladimir worked for the innovation conference Gather in Stockholm.
