Zoya Chalova

Director, Vladimir Mayakovsky Central City Public Library; President, Petersburg Library Society.
From 1975 to Graduated from the Leningrad State Institute of Culture named after N. K. Krupskaya. Started her working life as a head of a rural library and worked in the public libraries of Leningrad. 1985 she worked for the city Administration as a leading specialist in the library field.

Since 1986, she is Director of the Central City Public Library named after V. V. Mayakovsky. Honored Worker of Culture. Received the Order of Friendship and Honorary diploma of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg. Laureat of the St. Petersburg Government Award in literature, art and architecture. Cavalier of the French Order of Culture and Literature (2021).
